    By Taxi (easiest option)

It’s simple to catch a taxi from San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, the main airport in San Juan. Simple follow the signs to the taxi stand and let them know your address. The price of the taxi is set to $20 including tax. The taxi drivers generally take cards, but it’s always fastest to carry cash!

    By Bus (cheapest option)

It is possible to catch a public bus from the airport to Casa Santurce.

    1. Go upstairs to arrivals
    2. Head outside and walk to the right, all the way to end of the terminal buildings.
    3. You will see a regular bus stop. The T5 will take you to the hostel, it comes roughly every 30 minutes.
    4. You’ll need $0.75 in coins.
    5. We recommend you ‘star’ the hostel in google maps while you have wifi so you can see when you’re getting closer. The bus stops just before the ‘Miramar Food Truck Park’

Please note that this is a general public bus, not a tourist airport service. The buses are notoriously late so be prepared to wait more than the scheduled 30 minutes. The buses run weekdays 5am-9pm (hours vary on weekend

    Bus timetable:

    Weekdays: 5am – 9pm
    Saturday: 6am – 8pm
    Sunday: no service
    Holidays: 6am – 8pm (every 60 mintutes)

    Uber

Uber is a great, cheap way to get around San Juan! Unfortunately they can not pick-up from the airport. They can drop you back though! When you head back, you can grab an Uber for around $8-$10.

    By Car

Many people choose to rent cars on their vacation in Puerto Rico. There is normally parking available outside the hostel. This is public parking on the street itself, there is no parking lot. Reservations can not be made.
